It can be used as a standalone 8m extension cable or as part of our unique and versatile USB Active Extension System. When used as part of the USB Extension System this cable can be directly connected to a computer as the starting piece of a 'daisy chain' in conjunction with the LINDY 8m Active Extension Pro 4 Port Hub 12m Active Extension Cable Pro and 12m Active Extension Pro 4 Port Hub to create a USB 2.0 connection spanning up to 56m with either 1 or 4 USB 2.0 ports at the remote end. It can also be used as a middle segment of an installation. See below for more details on system installations.
