This active extension Pro 10m should only be used when combined with the overall system! The first segment must be the active extension, Pro, Art. No. 43158. Important: follow the installation instructions. Every active extension Art.-No. 43157 extends the range by 10m. A maximum of 4 active extensions can be used in total between the USB host (PC) and USB device. In combination with other segments (Art. No. 43158 and 43159) USB distances up to 18m can be bridged in individual cases, depending on the system environment (PCB, Controller etc.) up to 38m. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer, backwards-compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0. Plug & Play driver included in operating system. This USB Type A socket has a hook mechanism to make it harder to remove the USB connector of additional extension segments by mistake. For this reason, only USB cables or slim USB devices can be connected directly to this socket!.
